Exciting Football is for Losers
Last night Joe texted me complaining that all the exciting teams kept losing. Well, exciting football is for losers. Possession, defences, not making mistakes - that will win you things. That, and Beckham hoofing the ball hopefully upfield, Lennon's cross and the ball in off Crouch's arse.

The problem with this World Cup isn't that the exciting teams are losing, but that virtually everyone is playing very negatively.
In a strange turn of events the most exciting attacking team left is Italy.
