What Match?: Brazil 0 France 1
After that, the last thing I want to do is watch another football match, but I keep half an eye on the score while drowning my sorrows. France are going from strength to strength and Thierry Henry’s goal puts out the undeserving favourites, but in England the sense of apathy is overwhelming.

You forgot to mention that we didn't even get to watch the Vicar of Dibley, let alone the match, on the pub's faulty telly.
