Unsubstantiated Rumour

"One of the players who will remain unnamed has spoken privately about the team talk delivered yesterday by Colin Calderwood.

He said that they did not realise that Calderwood had such a temper, the teamtalk he delivered was blistering by any standards. The players were stunned by the ferocity and could not wait to get back out and get themselves back into the managers good books.

He said it was a very unpleasant experience and one they would hope to avoid in the future.

Good, from where I was sitting they needed it."

Both Commons and Perch mentioned the team talk on the radio after the game - good to hear that he's not just a "nice guy".
