As Guinless suggested in his article, the final straw with regard to Lineker was his thinly disguised hatred of the Reds in the Chelsea - Forest coverage.
I have no respect for him, I do not believe that he is the "nice guy" that he tries to make out, and his pursuit of the dollar in the crisp adverts further diminish any credibility he would claim to have.
To be fair to him - his nasty streak is just what you need to be a decent striker (see Alan Shearer). Just that, unlike Shearer, people seem to think he's a nice guy, rather than someone who would happily kick your ginger captain in the head.
