Czech Out:
Czech Republic 0 Italy 2
Ghana 2 USA 1

It's another unsuccessful day as far as my football viewing is concerned, but I manage to catch the BBC's late night highlights. They open with Ghana who go one up against the USA and eventually win 2-1 thanks to a dubious penalty late in the first half, but as usual the highlights aren't really enough to tell the story of the game beyond that.

This is bad news for the Czechs, who need to beat Italy and don't even get close, losing to goals from Materazzi and Inzaghi, with Polak sent off to rub salt in the wound. It's a disappointing exit for a team that looked so good in their first game, and sadly means I won't get a chance to wear my shirt.
