New arrival

It has been a good week in the transfer market - following on from capturing Krissy's signature, we now have a bona-fide left flank!

Matt Lockwood has signed from Leyton Orient. A bit of a surprise, as he only signed a new contract there a few weeks ago, when the season ended. However, it seems that there was a release clause in this deal, which Forest triggered, presumably linked to their bid of £300k.

The Orient fans certainly seem upset, and convinced that Lockie is one of the best attacking full-backs in the division. Evidently, his fellow professionals agree, as he was in the PFA League One team of the season.

I think this signing will be welcomed by everybody except possibly Julian Bennett...
